When 100 women walk in...
Natalia Nicholson Google-Certified Digital Marketing Coach Founder of Women in Digital Business
I know what it feels like to stand out.
My parents migrated from Jamaica to the UK in the â80s, working tirelessly to create a better life for me. But growing up, that meant finding myself in spaces where I was constantly outnumbered. It felt like I was walking around with a huge sign on my forehead that said, "Pick on me."
I learned self-consciousness early. It followed me through school, into the corporate world, and even as I pushed myself to become a successful entrepreneur. But what I didnât realise back then was this: one of my biggest needs wasnât just success, it was belonging.
Because no matter how loving your family is, nothing quite prepares you for stepping into a world that tries to make you feel like you donât deserve to be here.
Why This Community Exists
When I entered digital entrepreneurship, I saw two things clearly:
- First, I had to figure out a lot on my own because many business strategies werenât designed with Black women in mind.
- Second, I didnât have enough people to lean on.
Over time, I realized the problem isnât that Black women lack drive, ideas, or discipline, itâs that weâve been underestimated for so long that, at times, we start to believe it ourselves.
This is exactly why Women In Digital Business exists. I wanted to create a community where Black women feel safe, seen, and supported in their pursuit of success. Because confidence doesnât just appear, itâs built-in spaces where we are encouraged, empowered, and reminded that we belong.
And weâre not just talking, weâre taking ACTION.

THE SUMMIT: Where It All Comes Together
March is special for one reason: Itâs Summit OâClock.
When I came up with the idea for the 100 Most Powerful Black Women in Power Summit, I had no idea how big it would become.
At first, it was just a vision - a space where 100 Black women would share their journeys and the strategies that helped them win in digital business. But then the work began. The emails, the DMs, the late nights, the "Letâs do this" energy.
Now, weâre just days away, and weâve signed on more speakers than I ever imagined. Every day, more powerhouse women are joining. And itâs a real-time lesson on what we teach: Consistency. Creativity. Crazy self-belief.
And thatâs what this Summit is about.
Women who built their own tables and are ready to show you how to build yours.
If youâre still hesitating, ask yourself this:
What would change if you surrounded yourself with women who see your potential and wonât let you play small?
Video Of The Week
